We're starting a poetry contest to showcase the diversify of modern literature, and we want to see what you have to offer. We are looking for daring poetry that is innovative, striking, and emotive in its narrative and ideas. We accept simultaneous submissions. We will respond to all submissions within 3 months

Prizes:

1st place - $500

Runner ups (2 prize winners) - $50

All top 3 writers will be published on the Black Horse Review website

Submissions accepted until September 15, 2024

Winner will be announced on or before October 15, 2024
 

Guidelines: 

• Submit up to 3 poems, all on the same document.
• Your work must be unpublished and original.
• Multiple submissions per reading period are allowed.
• Writers of color, emerging poets, and international poets are encouraged to submit.
